DEBT RECOVERY IN POLAND

ENFORCEMENT OF FOREIGN JUDGMENTS IN POLAND

  • Enforcement in Poland of foreign judgments issued by courts from European Union Member States after 10 January 2015 under  EU Regulation no. 1215/2012 on jurisdiction and the recognition and enforcement of judgments in civil and commercial matters; such judgments may be enforced under Polish bailiff, without court previous approval;
  • Enforcement in Poland of judgments issued by courts from European Union Member States before 10 January 2015; such judgments require previous Polish court approval to be enforced before bailiff;
  • Enforcement in Poland of judgments issued in other countries
